Executive Assistant
This is an exciting, creative and administrative multi-faceted role supporting Our Client's Head of Film & TV executives with an opportunity to be part of the creative process more than a traditional entertainment EA. Our Client is an IP powerhouse with 25+ TV and film projects set up at studios, networks and streamers.
About You:
The right candidate is innovative, curious, self-starting, extremely focused and looking to advance in the TV & Film business. Should have superior attention to detail, organizational skills, love to read and an overall desire to learn with the ability to proactively jump in and own tasks both administrative and creative.
About the role:
- A high level of professionalism in dealing with individuals from both inside and outside of the company
- Experience with managing two very busy Senior executive calendars
- Organize, prioritize, and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information
- Organize, execute, and assist with team needs and goals (staff meeting agendas, writer & director lists, tracking lists, development reports, etc.)
- The ability to work with confidential material and top tier talent
- The ability to complete tasks and projects that meet deadlines, prioritize projects that require a quick turnaround, and work effectively with team members across the organization (E.G. Content, BA, Prod-Ops)
- Excellent communication skills in both written and oral form
Key Responsibilities
- Manage schedules and send out submissions
- Create writer, director and talent lists
- Listen, read and evaluate material
- Multi-Task the administration work with the creative
- Track internal projects and take notes in internal department meetings, project meetings and writer meetings
- Take notes with extreme organization for follow up actions
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience supporting senior -level executive(s) in entertainment, media or agency
- Expertise in evaluating material with strong opinions and matching IP with creators
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and support diverse work styles
- Ability to manage and prioritize issues and be a proactive problem solver
- Comfortable and thrives in a fast pace environment.
- Excellent oral, written and verbal communications around internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
- Demonstrate poise and executive presence in all various situations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- BA degree needed.
- Have served as an assistant at an agency and/or production company for a minimum of 3+ years
