POSITION SUMMARY

Our Client's Marketing team is seeking a Social Media Strategist whose primary responsibilities would be supporting the Head of social media with organic strategy development, process implementation, and content development across both KKR and the client’s social media channels. Our client is the market-facing brand of  insurance business.

The Social Media Strategist will be responsible for the development and implementation of a compelling, on-brand strategic vision across our social media platforms, tailored to the unique audiences to which each brand engages.  We’re looking for an experienced social media strategist who is creative, process-oriented and data-driven – possessing equal parts “creative brain” and “strategic brain.” This role is a unique opportunity to become an important part of the growing Marketing team, responsible for promoting the KKR and the client brands among external stakeholders.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

A successful candidate will have 6-8 years of relevant experience developing a social media strategy for a brand, ideally in the asset management or insurance industry. The Social Media Strategist will have experience growing social media communities, while developing and executing best-in-class social content programs. The ideal candidate will understand social media algorithms and best practices for brands to optimize their social media strategy to reach their existing communities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set the strategic direction for social media content for the client’s social media and drive alignment with its overall business strategy.
  • Assess KKR’s existing social media strategy and provide recommendations for optimizations.
  • Establish KPIs across all social media programs and assess performance.
  • Work within KKR’s Marketing organization, including Brand, Content Strategy, Creative, Digital, and Client Marketing to understand broader team objectives and develop engaging campaigns to help achieve their goals.
  • Partner with the client's Global Communications team to amplify key news and press appearances.
  • Manage content development process from ideation, production, reviews and approvals, to publishing.
  • Develop a living Social Operations Playbook that outlines process for publishing, social creative specifications, engagement guidelines, etc. to standardize our social media operations across all channels.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6-8 years of experience with organic and paid social, ideally working within the asset management or insurance industry. Agency experience is a plus.
  • Proven success in growing and engaging social media audiences.
  • Experience working with social media publishing and listening tools (Sprinklr, etc.).
  • Ability to develop, execute, and measure success of a cross-channel social media strategy.
  • Strong personal initiative and desire to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to learn quickly with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

 

 

Education

4 year college degree

 

QUALIFICATION/ LICENSURE :
  • Work Authorization : Green Card, US Citizen, Other valid work visa
  • Preferred years of experience : 6+ Years
  • Travel Required : 25% or less
  • Shift timings: 9 AM to 5 PM
