Description:

This is a contract role through Magnit for a leading software security company in Burlington, MA. This role is fully remote but must work in EST time zone.  

Magnit is hiring for a versatile and experienced professional to join our Finance team supporting sales commissions management and administration. Our team is responsible for incentive system configuration, transaction processing, results reporting, and customer support. This role will be responsible for supporting our monthly close tasks and providing capacity for process improvements and special projects such as implementing a new ICM tool. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of ownership and enjoys solving problems. We’re looking for a team member who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated to learn.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • The ideal candidate will have an established understanding of commissions processes and data flows
  • Implementation of a new Incentive Compensation Management system to roll out for upcoming fiscal year. This includes design, testing, and administration.
  • Research and resolve inquiries from Sales and cross-functional partners regarding commission payment calculations, booking disputes, commission plans, and system access issues
  • Updating of quarterly quota attainment reports, and assist with monthly performance and earnings attainment reporting
  • Support administration of the current commissions system, including performing monthly plan data updates, validation of monthly and quarterly compensation plan components, and testing system enhancements 
  • Partnering with the Revenue Operations team to review Salesforce.com booking data and quota capacity models 

Experience/Skills Required:

  • 3+ years of work experience, preferably in Finance, Sales Compensation, or Sales Operations
  • Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com, Anaplan, ICM tools such as Varicent, CapitivateIQ, Forma.ai, and XACTLY (or similar applications)
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues encountered in systems
  • Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, IF statements, vlookup)
  • Bachelors in Business, Finance, Mathematics or other analytical discipline
  • Ability to communicate clearly (verbal and written)
  • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working in a SaaS company or high-technology

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $50-$60/hr
