Our Pay Rate Range reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The pay rate for this position ranges from $56.83/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $88.94/hr in our highest geographic market. Pay Rate is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Senior Marketing Manager (TEMP)

About the Role
Our Client is looking for an experienced senior manager to help drive and manage our global media work in tandem with their 11 marketplaces. He/she will provide guidance to both the Global Media Center (GMC) and marketplaces helping to transform the media practice from a siloed, marketplace approach, to one that drives ongoing enterprise level value. The role requires someone with deep expertise across awareness and performance media channels and will be an integral part to establish foundational processes, enable growth, and improve efficiencies. The role will work very closely with local marketers as well as coordinate cross functionally inside and outside the marketing org. The role will work across strategy as well media operations and ad tech with the intent to streamline and improve our tools and systems.

He/she should have a proven track record of leading multi media campaigns as well as strong project management skills, working cross functionally across teams and departments – creative, tech, integrated marketing, etc. This role requires a self-starter or is able to operate in ambiguity and move projects forward. The position requires a media generalist with an understanding of all tactics and channels. A strong project management skill set is essential as the role will need to juggle multiple projects at any given time. The role will be global in nature working across various marketplaces, so a fundamental understanding of the multi-cultural marketplaces is preferred. The candidate must be a forward thinker who has is analytical or data driven, able to see the “bigger picture” as he/she will be responsible for helping to determine the future state of media measurement as well as shape global analytics goals, measurement frameworks, and best practices to ensure consistency across their marketplaces. The key responsibilities will include the following:

Key Responsibilities

·       Leading campaigns and initiatives involving multiple stakeholders across multiple teams

·       Oversight and ownership of global media approaches

·       Responsible for improving processes and move the business towards operational excellence

·       Own 3P relationships with our biggest partners including those company wide

·       Develop overarching policy, principles, process, and best practices across media, ad tech and media ops

·       Spearhead the data collation and analysis of media analytics both internally as well as with agencies

·       Ownership of real time digital dashboards reports as well as the distribution to larger team with insights

  • Manage and update budgets and finance documents

·       Proactive thinking on how to improve process and overall project management

·       Project management of ad hoc initiatives as well as cross functional work with creative, content, and product

Basic qualifications

  • Experience in project management
  • Preferred experience working with media agencies
  • Firm understanding of the overall media landscape as we as a fairly comprehensive knowledge of most paid media channels (display, social, radio, TV, OOH, OLV, mobile app, etc.)
  • Always up to speed on marketing trends with a keen understanding of ad formats, specifications and the different tactics
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Experience in tracking customer journey across multiple devices and provide a holistic view of performance drivers
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw insights and learnings from reports
  • Proven ability for innovation and ability to bring new ideas to the table to continue to advance the business
  • Experience managing a holistic budget

Preferred qualifications

  • 7+ years marketing experience in a goal-oriented organization
  • Global Experience on brand or agency side
  • Experience setting and achieving quantitative goals for both brand and direct response objectives
  • Ad tech experience preferred

  • Shift timings: Preferred - Hybrid: Newark, NJ (2 days onsite) Remote-considered
